« Research of therapeutic combinations hadrontherapy - therapies targeting biological radioresistance linked to tumor hypoxia and oxidative stress »


Hadrontherapy can overcome tumor radioresistance, of which hypoxia, cellular oxidative stress and DNA repair capacity are the most important factors. Since tumor and normal stem cells are very well adapted to this hypoxic context, their targeting or protection respectively are objectives for progress in tumor control and control of the toxicity of hadrontherapy. This project aims to study these particular aspects in vitro.
